Mr. and Mrs. Quail have been taking turns, caring for their new babies (that is why we haven't been seeing them together!) This is" Mother" Quail with 2 of their babies. Up ahead, is "Daddy" Quail with 4 more. (I have seen a Quail couple with with 13 babies.) The FAA watermark will not show on your beautifu; FAA prints*****.

Just after I took these photos, I figured out that the male and female quail were going to leave their babies "Safe" under my corner rose bush! Even though the babies are big enough to fly, to some degree, I had to keep my kitty inside for the evening. This morning I saw the baby Quild fly, to keep up with "Mom and dad" on the fence.!
