The red leaves were so much closer to me and I loved the way the "out of focus" Red leaves framed the front of the Quail and appeared to make her neck appear to be red. I liked it before I even clicked the shutter! She has partially raised her babies and appears to be keeping watch over them. The quail think they have a safe haven in our yard.
